On December 10, 2023, jolly 'ole Saint Nick carved out some time in his busy schedule to visit with the children and grandchildren of members of VFW 4090 and Auxiliary. The kids, mostly ages 4-8, spent the afternoon playing games, like fishing for candy canes, and decorating (and eating) Christmas cookies.
Thanks to a very generous donation from a friend of the Club, every kid was given a gift when they sat on Santa's lap. Plenty of pictures were taken, and we're happy to report, there were no meltdowns! If you're a parent, you know what I mean.
VFW 4090 would also like to thank the American Legion Post 129 commander Dave Fedewa. He was instrumental in making sure Santa came to visit with the kids.
